The 26-year-old midfielder played in the Dons' Aberdeenshire Cup semi-final defeat by Deveronvale on Monday.

Folly joined Aberdeen last summer after his release by Plymouth Argyle.

Former St Etienne, Southampton, Nottingham Forest, Preston and Sheffield Wednesday player Folly was a regular in the Dons midfield before breaking his ankle against Dundee Utd on New Year's Day.

And now the Togo midfielder is ready to return to the Dons first team when they face bottom club Hibs after the international break.

Folly told RedTV: "It's been a long eight months, quite frustrating.

"I've had to work hard to get back here and I'm happy for it to all be behind me and I'm just looking forward now.

"I don't want to think about it anymore. I just want to think about what's ahead."
