Dons vice-captain Considine is expected to start for Aberdeen against the Norwegian side in the Energy Cup clash at Pittodrie - which is FREE ENTRY for all spectators.
The defender has been out of action since breaking his leg last December, then he suffered a setback when he picked up an Achilles tendon injury during his pre-season comeback.
But the 26-year-old, who was an unused sub for the club's 0-0 draw with St Johnstone at the weekend, will return to action at 7pm on Wednesday.
The match against Viking ties in with one of the biggest oil and gas industry conferences in the world, Offshore Europe, which is taking place in Aberdeen this week.
