Classy left-sided player Milsom could be ready for a first appearance of the season following a long lay-off with a residual knee injury.

The 25-year-old former Fulham midfielder has been absent with a knee injury but could be set to return against Hibs at the end of the month.

Aberdeen FC boss Craig Brown told RedTV: “The good news is that Rob Milsom, if he doesn’t get any swelling on his knee between now and next week, will go straight into full training next week so that will be a big boost.”

Midfield enforcer Osbourne, who had made a storming start to the season, is also nearing a return to action after missing the trip to Inverness last week.

Brown added: “We expect Isaac Osbourne to be back training with the squad [on Thursday]."
