DONS boss Jimmy Calderwood is reported to be keen on Clyde youngster Pat Clarke.

The 23-year-old striker has scored 11 goals in 18 league games for Clyde and is attracting interested from several SPL clubs.

Clarke was linked with Hibernian in November, and Motherwell, Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday are also thought to have had an interest in the forward.

And the £50,000-rated player is said to be on Calderwood's radar for a swoop in the January transfer window.

Clyde boss and offensive ex-Hun John Brown said: "Jimmy Calderwood has shown an interest."

Brown may now be prepared to offload Clarke after signing East Fife striker Craig O'Reilly on a six-month deal last week.
