Dons Duo Named In Scotland Squad

ABERDEEN'S Russell Anderson and Scott Severin feature in the Scotland squad for the European Championship qualifiers with the Faroe Islands and Lithuania.

Walter Smith has named Anderson among ten defenders for the home tie against European minnows the Faroes.

And Scott Severin is included despite spending the last few weeks sidelined with an injury.

The Scots kick-off their Euro 2008 campaign against the Faroes at Celtic Park on 2 September and then the travel to Kaunas to face Heart of Midlothian four days later.
