ABERDEEN youngsters Andrew Considine, Andrew Bagshaw and Chris 'Phil' Maguire are the latest Dons to be called up to represent Scotland.

Considine joins the Scotland Under-21 squad to face Germany in a friendly at Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld, on Tuesday 6 February with a 6.00 pm kick-off.

Andrew, son of former Dons player Doug, is currently a first-pick in the Aberdeen defence thanks to injury and loss of form from Zander Diamond and Karim Touzani.

He has earned his place in the Scotland team for the game, which be shown live on Sky Sports, after several assured performances at the back for the Reds.

Scotland Under 19s will be taking part in the La Manga Tournament in Spain at the beginning of February, and U19s Coach and former Aberdeen assistant manager Archie Knox today named a 22 man squad including Andrew Bagshaw and Chris Maguire.

Maguire made his first start for the Dons against Kilmarnock on Boxing Day last month and capped a dream debut with a fine goal.

Bagshaw, yet to feature in the Dons first team, told RedWeb: "There are a lot of very good players at U19 level in Scotland at the moment, many of whom are playing regularly for their clubs, so it great to be involved."

Scotland will face Austria on Sunday 4 February, then Slovakia and Norway the following week.
