ABERDEEN have taken Udinese left-back Nikola Vujadinovic on trial, according to reports.
The Serbian defender, a product of Red Star Belgrade's youth system, played for a number of eastern European clubs before moving to the Italian club for £800,000 in 2008.
Vujadinovic, 24, has struggled to get into Udinese's first team, and was loaned to Unirea last year, and is thought to be available for loan this term as well.
The move for Vujadinovic now throws uncertainty upon Dons boss Mark McGhee's proposed move for full-back Grant Basey, which was expected to be completed last week but has since ground to a standstill.
