Jamie Smith Out For Two Months
Smith missed the team's humiliating CIS Cup defeat by third division amateurs Queens Park last night, and the seriousness of the injury has now been revealed.
Dons boss jimmy Calderwood told the Evening Express: "We've been told Jamie will be out for eight weeks, which is a massive blow.
"The injury is similar to the groin injury that kept Scott Severin out for a spell last season."
Meanwhile, Zander Diamond and Ricky Foster have been named in Archie Knox's Scotland U21 squad for the upcoming fixture with France at Pittodrie.
