Miller Time Out

ABERDEEN boss Mark McGhee has made finding a new striker his number one target as he prepares to replace Lee Miller.

McGhee received the news this week that Miller has incurred a three-game ban after his red card against Hibs last Saturday.

And with the target man stalling over a new deal at Pittodrie, the Dons will have to sell in January to receive any transfer fee - meaning the match against Falkirk could be Miller's last game for the club.

McGhee said: "Miller is out of contract and his situation concerns me more than others as he has options.

"He is a player who will be in demand because of the form he has shown and is one we are in danger of losing.

"I have to prepare for that. We don't have an absolute poacher, a Joe Harper if you like, in the squad so we are also looking at that.
