FALKIRK striker Alan Gow met up with Jimmy Calderwood yesterday to discuss a move to Pittodrie.

The 24-year-old left-footer, who hit a hat-trick in the Bairns' 5-1 thrashing of Dundee United on Monday, will be out of contract in the summer and has been free to talk to interested clubs since the start of the year.

Gow has also held talks with Hibernian this week but insists he will not make a hasty decision about where to play next season.

Wolves and QPR have been linked with the former Airdrie forward, while Rangers and Celtic are also believed to be keeping tabs on the youngster's movements.

Gow told The Sun: "I've had good meetings with [Hibernian boss] John Collins and Jimmy Calderwood.

"But I've not made any decision yet about my future. I've said all along that I want to weigh up my options.

"I will be a Falkirk player until the summer and I'll continue to give everything for the club."
