Paterson Joins MacLean At Dons

ABERDEEN have swooped to snatch Plymouth midfielder Jim Paterson.

With the transfer window in full Indiana Jones mode, the Dons have managed to grab their whip with not a second to spare and run away from that giant boulder thing. Metaphorically speaking.

Paterson joins Plymouth team-mate Steven MacLean at Pittodrie on loan until summer.

The pair have been tracked by Dons boss Mark McGhee since he became Aberdeen manager last summer, but AFC could not agree a deal with the Pilgrims.

However McGhee has now persuaded Paterson to put pen to paper, and he joins Steven MacLean as the Aberdeen squad takes on a new look as we enter the new decade.
