Real Scottish People's League Week 7
Motherwell retained top spot in the RSPL despite having a week off, and could have another week off next weekend if they want because they have a four-point lead over new second-placed team Kilmarnock. Unfortunately for the chasing teams, Well are in fact playing bottom club St Johnstone at home next Saturday.
The Ayrshiremen beat Dunfermline by the odd goal in five to snatch second spot from St Mirren who were held to a goalless draw at home by hapless fellow Saints, St Johnstone.
The bottom half of the Real SPL stayed exactly as-is, with the bottom four clubs gaining a point apiece but remaining in exactly the same positions due to a series of draws.
Unusually, there will be a full card of Real SPL fixtures next weekend with no teams getting a rest week, and every single RSPL game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. Imagine that, eh? Happy days!
