Real Scottish People's League Week 25

Real SPL leaders Motherwell won almost as many games at Fir Park this week as they have during the rest of the season - a pair of victories halting the club's recent run of bad form and extending the lead at the top of the division to 10 points once more.

By contrast it was a disastrous week for Dunfermline who succumbed to two away defeats, firstly to Motherwell then to the division's form club Aberdeen. the Dons' 1-0 victory moved them above Dundee Utd into fourth place and now a single victory off second spot.

In Saturday's remaining game, Inverness and St Mirren shared the spoils in a 0-0 that continued the Highland club's climb away from the foot of the table that they occupied for much of the start of the RSPL season. On the other hand, the Paisley club is struggling to open up a gap from the teams below them - their early season high point of second place long forgotten as they hover perilously above the danger zone despite moving up one spot in the league.
