Third Don Added To Scotland Squad
Paton joins fellow Dons kids Andrew Bagshaw and Chris 'Phil' Maguire to make three out of the Scotland squad's four forwards from Aberdeen.
The call-up comes as part of a small number of changes to the original squad due to injury an club committments.
Archie Knox and Tommy McIntyre will coach the team through three matches starting against Austria on Sunday evening. They also play Slovakia on Tuesday and Norway on Thursday.
Meanwhile, RedWeb has announced that Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has been added to Alex McLeish's first full Scotland squad.
