Aberdeen's reserves returned to the top of the SPL Reserve League after beating Livingston 2-1 with goals from Chris Maguire and Andrew Considine.

The victory followed the first team's 3-0 success on Saturday and the Dons U-19s' 4-2 win on Friday afternoon.

The Dons' second string are level with Celtic at the top of the table with a game in hand on the Parkhead reserves.

Sandy Clark's side took the lead after just ten minutes when Chris Maguire latched on to a Ricky Foster cross to fire the ball past Ludovic Roy. Nine minutes before the break, the Dons doubled their advantage when an Ashley McInnes corner was headed home by Andrew Considine.

Lego Ferranti, who included Jimmy Calderwood's best mate Noel Whelan in their line-up, pulled one back five minutes into the second half when Steve Hislop lobbed the ball over Greg Kelly.
