A VERY disappointing Dons XI lost out to Forfar in Alan Rattray's testimonial fixture at Station Park last night.

A Gary Fraser goal on the hour mark gave the Loons the victory, with out-of-form Dons centre half Zander Diamond culpable.

Diamond and other fringe players Kyle Macaulay, Jamie Winter and Darren Mackie did little to impress the onlooking Dons coaching staff, and should be concerned for their futures at the club.

Good news for Dons fans was that Karim Touzani played his first football for over ten weeks, managing 65 minutes of the friendly. Steve Lovell continued his comeback with a decent performance despite failing to get on the scoresheet.

Aberdeen: Soutar, Donald, D. Smith, Macaulay, Diamond, Touzani, Neill, Winter, Lovell, Mackie, S. Smith.
Subs: Stewart, Kiely, Haswell, Thomas, Jones
