Scotsman Fanzone 2 Mar

ScotsmadWriting this column has become, dare I say it, boring. Every week, it’s a report on how Craig Brown and Archie Knox have worked wonders and that the most recent game saw the Dons play well and deserve to win.

The only surprise this week is that we didn’t actually win against Hearts, and the Gorgie side have Marián Kello alone to thank for that.

That Aberdeen performed so well against a side that is supposedly part of a three-way battle for the SPL title is, on the face of it, excellent – particularly after the Dons were swept aside thrice by Celtic in January – but on Saturday’s evidence Hearts are nowhere near the same level as the Old Firm and their fans should put their laughable delusions of grandeur to bed for another season.

See the published version of this article plus fans of other SPL clubs' responses to their team's performance at: http://sport.scotsman.com/newsfront.aspx?SectionID=14223, and in the Scotsman newspaper every Wednesday.
