Aberdeen-Mad invades the Scotsman

ABERDEEN

While there was precious little evidence of grit on the snow-covered A90, there was plenty on display from the Dons kids at Tannadump on Saturday. Fraser Fyvie & co showed determination beyond their years, despite another numerical disadvantage, along with the skill, flair and enthusiasm we are fast becoming accustomed to.

New signing Paul Marshall has been brought in to add a bit of experience to the midfield — at 20 years of age he’s practically an OAP compared to his team-mates — and his guile in creating the winner shows he has benefited from his EPL apprenticeship.

Sadly, the victory was overshadowed by the news that one of our flock tragically died outside the ground. This puts all football matters into perspective and the thoughts of the Red Army are very much with the family of this true fan.
