ABERDEEN

We have been very upset hearing about poor Rangers' plight up here in the Republic of Aberdonia. The current financial crisis, the targeting for unfair punishment from UEFA, the embarrassment of bigging up departure to a 'better’ league while being continually humiliated in Europe - it pure makes our hearts bleed, so it does by the way.

This sympathy plainly extends to somebody at Pittodrie. After the Dons mix of talented teens and plucky reserves coasted to a 1-0 half-time lead thanks to some exciting, dynamic and skillful football, someone must've had a quiet word with referee Craig Thomson, telling him he must send off our captain for nowt to give the downtrodden Gers a chance. Distressingly they still couldn't muster an undeserved equaliser, and their tale of heartbreak continues. Boo hoo.
