ABERDEEN target Adebayo Akinfenwa is open to a move to the Scottish Premier League club.
The out-of-contract Northampton striker has been the subject of an inquiry from the Dons.
Now back in Britain from holiday, Akinfenwa will meet his agent Dean Baker this week to discuss his future.
"Aberdeen are a big club," Akinfenwa said. "I've got some good friends in Scotland and they tell me that.
"I am leaving Northampton to play at a higher level and all interest is welcome."
