Craig's Centre Search Continues

ABERDEEN boss Craig Brown is continuing his efforts to bolster Aberdeen's midfield after expressing satisfaction with the rest of his squad.

Udinese left-back Nikola Vujadinovic extended his loan stay until the end of the season late on Thursday, while forward Nick Blackman and midfielder Rob Milsom joined the Dons on-loan from Blackburn and Fulham respectively. Yet, with Yoann Folly ruled out until the end of the season due to a broken ankle, Brown is eager to augment his midfield options.

"We're still looking to supplement the midfield provision," said Brown.

"I think we're okay up front now with the loan signing of Blackman.

"We're settled up front, we think. But with Paul Hartley suspended this week and Yoann Folly injured, we still need we think a bit more reinforcement in midfield."

Brown and his assistant Archie Knox assessed Vujadinovic and were pleased he was able to stay on.

"Archie and I have looked at him and think there's strong potential there to become a very important player in the squad," said Brown.

"With his confirmation that relieves us of a necessity to get another defender."
