Danny Move Not Dead

Versatile midfielder Danny Griffin's move to Aberdeen is still alive, according to Stockport manager Chris Turner. The Northern Ireland international has been a long-term target for the Dons since he was placed on the transfer list at Edgeley Park.

But Dons' legend and director of football Willie Miller has emphasised that the 27-year-old former Arab will have to prove he is 100% recovered from a knee injury before the deal can be completed.

"That's an ongoing one," Turner told TeamTalk, "Danny will return for pre-season training on June 23 and if everything is alright with his knee he will then go up to Aberdeen for a short time for them to examine him. Hopefully it'll be alright and he can sort something out with them."
