The Dons secured a late win over St Johnstone on Thursday night thanks to a 90th minute winner from substitute Adam Rooney.
The tie will be played at Hampden Park with the date and kick-off time yet to be announced.
In the other League Cup semi-final tie, Premiership team Celtic will also face a team that has spent most of its history in the Scottish lower-leagues.
