Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes believes his team's clash with Dundee on Saturday will be a close affair.

The two SPFL matches between the teams so far this season have been high-scoring affairs, and McInnes is confident of no surprises tomorrow.

He said: "I think Paul [Hartley] will anticipate my team near enough and I think we can anticipate his team. I know he’s had a few injuries but they’ve had plenty of time to recover.

"I think we could both second guess each other’s teams - roughly - and there will be no real surprises on the day. I’m pretty sure we’re well aware of their threats and the potential that they can cause us problems.

"Likewise, we hope to be a real tough opponent for them."

And full-back Shay Logan says the Dons players have only one thing in mind tomorrow, and for the rest of the season.

He said: "Every game is massive now. All the games now become about three points - it’s not about performance or anything like that - it’s about three points.

"We’ll go to Dundee on Saturday and […] the sole purpose is to take three points and we know if we give a good representation of ourselves we’ve got a really good chance of doing that."
