DONS star Chris 'Bebo' Maguire is ready to sit down and discuss a new deal at Pittodrie, according to reports.
Maguire is out of contract at the end of the season and a number of clubs throughout the country are monitoring his situation.
The 22-year-old has lit up the Dons season with seven goals to date plus a starring role in the Scotland U21s recent qualification campaign, including a wondergoal from the half-way line in the playoff against Iceland that was talked about all around the world.
Aberdeen legend and Director of Football Willie Miller revealed earlier this week he feared losing Maguire on a free transfer this summer.
However the player's agent has told Skysports.com that Bebo is ready to discuss a new contract at Pittodrie.
The agent said: "Chris is a lot happier at Aberdeen at present as the arrival of Craig Brown has been a real shot in the arm for him.
"Chris is happy to sit down and talk with Aberdeen about a new contract and see what is on offer."
