Michael Waiting On A Silver Platter Now

Michael Hart has been given the go-ahead to start full training again in the next few weeks.

This will come too late for last season's Mr Consistency to add to his pain-filled four appearances this term, but Harto is already looking forward to next season's campaign.

Many people's player of the year last term had surgery seven weeks ago to repair the groin damage that has blighted his season and has already returned to light training.

The 26-year-old visited his specialist this week, who reported that he is pleased with the progress made by the player who returned to Pittodrie in 2003 after a spell at Lego club Livingston.

Hart told the Evening Express: "I'm 75% of the way there now which is a big bonus.

"The specialist was very happy with me which was big relief. He told me not to even think about playing again this season and I've accepted that.

"It's now just about working hard on my fitness levels so that I'm ready for next season."

This season has been depressing for the right-back, and everyone at Aberdeen-Mad will have their fingers crossed for him all summer!
