Strachan has called up Reynolds to the Scotland squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier.
The 27-year old received his first call-up to the senior squad in May for the friendly against Nigeria but he didn't come off the bench in the 2-2 draw.
Reynolds has eight Under-21 caps to his name and one for the Scotland B side, and has been rewarded for his domestic performances in recent seasons.
The Scotland squad have gathered in preparation for Sunday's clash where they will open their campaign against the world champions in Dortmund.
