Aberdeen have today released details of next season's season tickets, as follows.

Aberdeen Football Club Season Ticket Prices 2005/06

Aberdeen Football Club is offering all its supporters the opportunity to get their Season Ticket for free in a world first via its RedArmy Membership Programme.

The new initiative allows fans to apply for Advance Points and acquire their season ticket without paying a penny. The Advance Points initiative is open to all Dons fans who can apply for Advance Points, online, on the phone or via a postal application form. Once a fan has their Advance Points they can exchange them for a season ticket with the points being paid back over a nine month period by shopping with hundreds of retailers participating in the RedArmy Membership Programme. If enough points are collected before the end of this period then the fan doesn't pay anything for his or her season ticket.

Another new initiative will see all of the Club's Under 12 season ticket holders getting a free ticket to the vast majority of the Dons' league away games, when accompanied by a paying adult. This scheme is currently being finalised by the SPL.

Additionally, the only way to become an official match day mascot will be to buy an Under 12 season ticket and be entered into the free draw sponsored by Stolt Offshore.

This year's season ticket pack will be sent to 36,000 recipients - 15,000 more than last year. Over 28,000 of the season ticket packs will be sent via e-mail with a further 8,000 being posted. The use of e-mail is a first for the Club and is the latest development in AFC's drive to become an e-marketing led organisation. This move has saved an estimated £10,000 in print and postage costs whist at the same time reaching 42% more customers than the same time last year.

Packs will be sent out starting Monday (23rd May). RedAlert subscribers are reminded to check their e-mail inbox for their season ticket pack.

The main benefits of buying a season ticket include:

A minimum of 5 free games when compared to match admission prices

Discounted ticket prices for cup games

Priority purchase of cup and away game tickets
