Lights go out at Pittodrie
Aberdeen's Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Motherwell has been abandoned after just seven minutes of play due to floodlight failure at Pittodrie.
The lights in the Main Stand initially went out in the sixth minute, but play restarted 20 minutes later.
However, play was then halted once again as the floodlights failed for a second time and the match was abandoned at around 8.20pm.
The failure was the result of an issue with a mains transformer, with back-up generators the club had brought in also failing.
