Clark To Miss Rest Of Season

SATURDAY'S Sponsor's Man of the Match Chris Clark is unlikely to play any more games this season.

The versatile winger, who has played most of this season as a full-back or midfielder, has been playing through the pain barrier with a groin problem in recent weeks.

It is thought that Saturday's dour draw with Kilmarnock was one game too far for Clark, and with Richie Byrne and Michael Hart almost ready to return to action, Clark may be offered the chance to end his season early.

Russell Anderson is also struggling with a back injury, and as the 0-0 draw with out-of-form Killie leaves the Dons with only an arithmetical chance of European qualification, the captain may also spend the rest of the season on the sidelines.

Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood told the Evening Express: ""Both [Clark and Anderson] are struggling with injuries but it will be left to them to decide if they want to battle on."
