ABERDEEN this morning confirmed Falkirk midfielder Steve Tosh as the first signing of the Steve Paterson era.

The 29-year-old has previously played for Arbroath, Raith Rovers,
Livingston and Falkirk, is delighted to be leaving the first division behind to return to the SPL with Aberdeen.

He told the official AFC site “The Dons are a big club and I'm sure Steve Paterson has big ambitions for them. I saw them play Celtic recently and already you can see the manager has made an impression at Pittodrie. I'm an honest, hard working player and will give everything I have for my new team.”

Steve Paterson said of his first signing for the Dons “Steven brings a lot of experience to my squad as well as no little skill. He played really well for
Livingston last season and showed he can handle playing at the top level in Scotland. I'm delighted to have been able to bring him here.”

Tosh will head out to
Portugal with the rest of the first team squad at the weekend.
