ABERDEEN FC today signed former Dundee and AC Milan midfielder Patrizio Billio on a short term contract.

The player who is delighted to be at Pittodrie said "After the problems I had at Dundee, I am very excited at the prospect of playing for Aberdeen. I know they have some excellent young players so I will have to be at my best if I am to win a regular place in the team."

Dons boss Ebbe Skovdahl is glad to have another experienced player on board and added "He has a good pedigree and is a very good technical player. I am sure he will be a big asset to us as we look to progress both here and in Europe."

Billio's agent Chris Farnell added "I'm delighted for Patrizio to have the chance to show his skills at a big club like Aberdeen."
