New Reds Steven MacLean and Jim Paterson could play part of tonight's SPL game with Falkirk, with Mark McGhee wanting them involved as soon as possible.

The Dons boss said: "As long as when they come off the plane, they're feeling okay then they will be included.

"We want to get them in there. They're here until the end of the season, so we don't want to waste any games."

McGhee, whose side travel to Raith Rovers in the Active Nation Scottish Cup on Saturday, added: "We've got a big cup game.

"We want to integrate them right away, so we can have the option to use them on Saturday. We've got to get them in the team."

Peter Pawlett is in the squad but may not yet be ready for a first-team return.

Andrew Considine (hip) could miss the rest of the season, while Sone Aluko (pelvis) is a few days away from a return to the squad.

Dons (from): Langfield, Young, Ifil, Grassi, Mulgrew, Paterson, Foster, Fyvie, Kerr, McDonald, Marshall, Mackie, MacLean, Diamond, Duff, Paton, Jack, Nelson, Pawlett.
