MacLean Joins Dons On Loan

ABERDEEN have signed Plymouth striker Steven MacLean on loan until the end of the season.

Last week, manager Mark McGhee believed he still had a chance of bagging the forward.

The Dons boss claimed last week he still had a chance of signing the Pilgrims ace, but expected a Championship side to win the race for his signature.

But such a move failed to materialise and MacLean instead plumped for the Dons in his attempt to get first-team football.

MacLean's arrival will soften the blow of losing line-leader Lee Miller to Middlesbrough - for more information on that transfer click here.
