ABERDEEN'S Ibrox loanee Richard Foster expects to return to Pittodrie at the end of the season after his loan deal at Rangers expires.

Utility player Foster moved to Ibrox at the beginning of the season, and has played 20 games for the Huns so far, picking up a League Cup winner’s medal along the way.

And 25-year-old Foster says that he is looking forward to working under Craig Brown and Archie Knox if he is to return to the North East.

He said: "My situation as it stands is that I'm going back to Aberdeen for next season, up until this point that's the way it is.

"I've seen in the papers that [Brown and Knox] want me to go back and if that's the case at the end of the season I'd be more than happy and I'd work as hard as I can for them."
