Dons gaffer Jimmy Calderwood fielded a largely second-string side, with Langfield, Diamond and Crawford the only established first-team regulars in the starting XI.

While the Dons management team will see the game as a useful run-out, they will be looking for a better performance in Wednesday's second encounter with the Cosmos at Huntersfield Stadium.
